KJ and Dan have a hard time communicating. After years of strained relationships, a couple takes a weekend trip to a friend’s cabin to rekindle their romance…only to find a dying, but not quite dead, mouse caught in a glue trap. They disagree on how to proceed, with KJ advocating a quick death and Dan suggesting that the mouse’s final moments be as pleasant as possible. The couple compromise and move on, slowly finding their way to each other in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their peace is shattered by the arrival of a small woman who can charitably be described as ‘eccentric’ – she is their host’s younger sister and had no idea that anyone would be staying at the family cabin. No problem if it breaks, right? As the pair struggle to juggle this fraught and strained dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this pesky third wheel may threaten more than just their relationship…
