KJ and Dan are having communication issues. After several years of strained relationships, the couple head to a friend’s vacation home for the weekend to rekindle their romance… only to find a dying, but not quite dead, mouse stuck in a sticky trap. They disagree on how to deal with it, with KJ advocating a quick death while Dan suggests making the mouse’s last moments as pleasant as possible. The pair compromise and move on, slowly finding their way back to each other in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their peace is disrupted by the arrival of a small woman who could be described as “eccentric” with kindness – she’s the younger sister of their host and had no idea that anyone was staying at the family cottage. It’s okay if she collapses, right? As the couple deals with this intruder on top of an already tense dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this pesky third circle may threaten more than just their relationship…
